Serge Gainsbourg LP – 1964 Gainsbourg Percussions (?)

Unofficial release of the cult jazz and afro LP by the French maestro “Gainsbourg Percussions”. It’s worth mentioning that this LP, originally released in 1964, features three uncredited track versions created by Nigerian drummer, educator and activist Babatunde Olatunji, issued on his first album “Drums of Passion” from 1960. The aforementioned tracks are “Joanna”, “New-York USA” and “Marabout”. Also “Pauvre Lola” is a cover of Myriam Makeba’s “Umqokozo” from 1962.
