Tomorrows Children LP ‎– The Going’s Great With (1970)

Active in Jamaica in the late 1960s and early 70s, reggae and rocksteady band Tomorrow’s Children were notable for their ambitious cover versions spread across three albums and a handful of singles, beginning on Ken Khouri’s Federal label. This LP is their second and it ranges from reggae to funk and soul with a deep sound and excellent vocals by Ken Lazarus, John “Mandingo” Jones, Pluto Shervington, Barry Collins and Cornel Marshall.
