The Jukebox 7′ – Kimi ni ika rete / Naze ni kimi wa ikiru (1971)

On this record, it’s the A side that’s got my preference : Heartfelt teen vocals, backed with slabs of acid wha-fuzz and great mid-tempo funk drums, all the makings of a great garage tune, with great production. Although they released this in the early seventies, their sound is very sixties. Shake it, shake it baby!

Listen to that great A side. The B side is too sentimental and slow for me.
