Teruo Nakamura – Rising Sun (1976)

Japanese jazz bassist and record producer, born March 3, 1942 in Tokyo. Moved to New York in 1964 and studied double bass with Reggie Workman, formed the Rising Sun Band, worked mainly as record producer in the 1980s. This second LP from 1976 on Kitty Records, the first being released on Three Blind Mice, features many a great musician and is great example of fusion jazz and funk with impeccable production.
