Teruhiko Saigo 7′ – Kizudarake No Tenshi / Kiri No… (1966)

Great single by Japanese singer, composer and actor Teruhiko Saigo, who released this seven inch in 1966. A very popular face during sixties Japan, Saigo was part of Gosanke, the “Big Three”, an idol pop trio composed of Shigeyuki Ueda and Yukio Hashi. I quite like the crooner singing and the arrangements by Jinzo Kosugi, the organ sound, the surf guitar licks and Morriconesque backing vocals.
