SOLD – Golden Half LP – We Are (1971)
Golden Half was an early 1970’s J-pop band made of five members including Maria Mori, Eva Mary and Luna Takamura. The band was promoted by Watanabe Productions. It formed in September 1970 to sing and go-go dance on the Fuji TV show ‘Beat Pop’.
This is their first LP and it’s fun to listen to. Not only will you smile all along, you may also dance! The LP has strong funk, soul and pop influences, it is brilliantly orchestrated and the girls are really going for it!
