SOLD – La Leçon Particulière OST LP – Francis Lai (1974)

Later issue of this great soundtrack by the late French maestro Francis Lai. Only released as an EP and fairly easy to find in France, the long player version was only released in Japan. First in 1969, then ’74 and ’77. About the music, Mr Lai and his arranger Christian Gaubert always had a taste for orchestral pop, bossa nova and rhythm and blues. That’s what you will find with the addition of “Night in Avoriaz”, a killer instrumental jerk jam with great drums and organ.
