Fujio Tokita 7′ – Watashi no Bitoruzu / Warui Kazeookosuna (1970)

Amazing double sider single by singer, storyteller and actor Fujio Tokita, released in 1970 on Columbia Japan. A pretty rare single, “My Beatles” features funk drums, fuzzed out guitar, whirly organ and psychedelic lyrics, with great arrangements and production. The B side is equally great, maybe better with superb funk drums, fuzz guitar, koto and mouth-harp. The A side was recently compiled on the “Wamono A To Z Vol. II (Japanese Funk 1970​-​1977)” compilation.

One of my all time favorite wamono singles, never leaves my DJ box!
