Paranoid Void (Japanese band) concert @ Sonambule – June 3rd !

Nezumi Records is invited to bring a record stall at the Anim’ Manga festival in Gignac (34) this coming 3rd of June.

Besides shopping for records, the evening will consist in a cosplay catwalk, a live concert by the ‘math rock’ band Paranoid Void from Osaka (Japan) and a vinyl set by yours only DJ Dom-e (aka Nezumi Dom) that will feature anime soundtracks, jazz-funk, prog rock and other way-out sounds.

Last week I was invited to present myself and Nezumi on the local Radio Pays d’Hérault in St André de Sangonis, close to where I live.

I talked (in French) about the records I played during a selection of around 45 minutes of different Japanese artists from the 1960’s to the 1980’s, from jazz-funk to anime soundtracks and pop.

SOUL FOOD JAPON Festival @ Tropisme, Montpellier – France

My friends at Cosmic Grooves Airlines were so kind to invite me to their first installment of the Soul Food Festival with a focus on Japanese culture and MUSIC of course. I will be playing my full spectrum of vinyl findings in Japan, from Group Sounds to Jazz and Fusion Funk, on both days!

The event will take place on December 3 and 4 @ La Halle Tropisme in Montpellier.

Vinyl Market @ Mama Stock #5.

Another cool outdoors event that Nezumi Records couldn’t miss is the Mama Stock Festival in Montpellier.

Come join me at the Vinyl Market on Sunday 28th only, where around 10 independent sellers will display great vinyl selections from Jazz to Reggae and Rock & Roll.

From 11AM to 7PM @ Mama Village.

Reggae g’O Soul @ Le Domaine d’O in Montpellier.

Nezumi Records will attend this 4-day event focused on Reggae culture @ Le Domaine d’O.

There will be concerts, movies, conferences and meetings on the influence of reggae music among popular culture.

Starting at 5PM and only on friday 26th of August, Nezumi will share a space dedicated to vinyl records with other great sellers of the region.
