This category includes all traditional music and folk music records from Japan. Enka, Gagaku, Shomyo, Min-you… Using traditional instruments like Koto, Shakuhachi, Shamisen and Taiko. I have chosen to also add records which give modern interpretations of traditional themes. Japanese pressings of records containing folk songs and traditional music from other countries will also be listed here.
