Jimmy Smith & Wes Montgomery LP – The Dynamic Duo (1973)

Classic LP by the Dynamic Duo, Jimmy Smith on Hammond B3 organ and Wes Montgomery on guitar released this excellent cool jazz in 1966 under the direction of Oliver Nelson at Van Gelder studios. Here’s the beautiful Japanese press from 1973.

The personnel include Ray Barretto on percussion and Grady Tate on drums as well as Clark Terry on trumpet and Phil Woods on saxophone, among others.
